Our History

Our church group began its journey of worship on March 8, 1992, gathering in the basement of Pastor Brown's condominium with approximately eight members. Although that space was modest, we welcomed God into our presence and worshipped Him in spirit and truth.
​
In 1994, we were blessed to find a place of worship at Strafford School, to God be the glory.
This year marked the beginning of our very first annual convention.
During our time at Strafford School, we faced several challenges, including a flooding incident at our place of worship.
Nevertheless, we kept the faith and the glory of God was profoundly felt among us, and we persevered through every obstacle.

In 2010, we while worshipping at Elmwood School; we once again needed to find a space to host our upcoming convention.
That year we found Callingwood Presbyterian Church and it became our next home for next 12 years.
We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to the members of Callingwood Presbyterian Church for their warm welcome and support over the years. May God continually bless you!

Despite all the provisions God made for our church, Pastor Brown envisioned having our own building to call home.
In June 2022, after much prayer, searching, and navigating through challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic,
God blessed us with our very own building at 8505 90 St NW, Edmonton.
This space is a fulfillment of countless prayers and a testament to God's attentive care and provision, which always exceeds our expectations.
Over the years, we have witnessed God's hand at work in many miraculous ways and are truly thankful for His continued blessings.
He is never late; He is always on time.

Be encouraged today to wait on the Lord and remain steadfast, for our God is more than capable and will always create a path.
Have faith, trust, and believe in God's promises, and He will never let you down.

Our Departments
Women's Department
Women’s ministry is vital to the spiritual health of Christian women. We recognize the importance of valuing our women and providing a space to address issues that women face. In this ministry, women connect with women in prayer, fasting, and service to the church, challenging one another to grow in Christ.

Men's Department
We recognize the importance of valuing our men and providing a space to address issues that men face. The men's ministry is all about spreading and celebrating the word of God among brothers. Men learn and grow in the community of other men, when actively engaged in a healthy men's ministry.

​
Youth Department
We seek to guide our youth by teaching them about the Bible, the importance of a relationship with God, and the expectations of God for daily living. We also seek to empower them by providing opportunities to put into practice what they have learned through participation in church and community activities that bring glory to God.
